With the new "Automatic Volume Control" function (AVC), the vicCOM 2 can adjust the speaker volume to the noise level of the environment.
In case of intense traffic noise, the device automatically increases the loudspeaker volume and the audio signal played back is more distinct from the background noise, so that speech intelligibility improves enormously compared to devices without AVC.
With the new "Volume Fading" convenience feature, vicCOM 2 products now also offer the option of individually parameterising the transition when the volume level changes (e. g. fade in or fade out).
